CHEERLEADING
HEAD COACH: BROOKE RUIZ
Brooke Ruiz is the dance teacher at San Tan Foothills and has been coaching cheerleading for 10+ years. In high school she was on the varsity cheer squad at Florence High School where her team won state titles in both show cheer in 2012 and all girl stunt in 2013. After high school she coached a junior rec team for the town of Florence that competed locally and nationally for two years. She has also coached middle school cheer at Florence K8 as well as junior varsity cheer at Poston Butte High School. Eventually she moved to San Tan Foothills High School were she took over varsity cheer program. While at San Tan Foothills she has established a well structured program and managed to bring home the first state tile in school history. She currently over sees the entire spiritline program at STF. Outside of coaching she enjoys hunting, spending time with friends, family and son, and going to Disneyland. She is looking forward to this upcoming season and for what's in store!
JUNIOR VARSITY COACH: SAVANNAH ENTEMAN
Savannah Enteman, (soon to be Savannah Cammisa) I’m currently a wedding coordinator at Schnepf Farms. This will be the first year I coach at a high school level for the Junior Varsity Team. I was once a cheerleader at Poston Butte High School for 2 years and danced throughout my 4 years in high school. While in high school I volunteered for QC Activestars Cheer Team as an assistant coach for 3 years. After high school I continued to be part of the cheer lifestyle as a Cheer Sister! I am so excited to be back in the coaching atmosphere and can’t wait to see what the 2024-2025 season holds for us. Outside of coaching, I love spending time with family&friends, traveling, shopping and planning couples weddings! :)
ASSISTANT VARSITY COACH:
EMILY SPATH
Emily Spath is the administrative assistant over athletics at San Tan Foothills, and this will be her second-year coaching at the high school level. Previously, after high school she has coached 2 seasons of cheer at Florence K-8. Prior to high school Emily has cheered at her middle school for 3 years and a rec team for 2 years, that competed nationally. While in high school Emily was on the varsity cheer team at Florence High School for all four years. Emily has won 5 state championships starting with 2017 her team won in show cheer, followed by her winning state titles in 2018,2019 and 2020 in both show cheer and all girl stunt. Emily is very excited to be on staff at STF! Outside of coaching cheer, Emily enjoys going on fun trips and spending time with her family & friends!
